AT&T lightgig support designer should have experience designing Lightgig jobs specifically in BSTCAD. Should have experience in encoding jobs in JMS (Job Management System). Should be able to run the QC macro that was created for the Lightgig work and make sure it is green when delivered to client Minimum relevant work experience of 1-2 years in FTTB/FTTH architecture (FTTx OSP Network Planning and Design). Experience in Fiber Network Planning and Designing of Green/Brown field, Rehab, Relocation, Restoration, ASE, CRAN projects. Design, document and direct OSP copper and fiber optic cable (UG, aerial and buried) and manhole & conduit design. Experience in creating make ready analyses, pole surveys, QC prints, and preparation of prints and assist in preparing bid documentation. Previous experience of OptiNT, JMS, AOTX, BSTCAD, MIC, CFAS, ELP, OCALC is preferred. Able to read and understand highway/road prints, be able to identify conflicts with existing outside plant facilities, select routing of lines and equipment required for work projects.

This position is responsible for the Drafting, AutoCad. Preparing documentations, maps, and design drawings utilizing the latest industry & customer software systems and databases. The drafter will possess good communications skills, good attitude, flexibility, good problem-solving skills, good customer service skills, basic knowledge of telecom and power engineering & construction. They will work closely with the engineering staff and customers; adapt, follow, and modify standard techniques to produce high quality drawings/prints, maps, and documents per customer requirements and systems. They will deliver high quality project designs, plans, as-built, field notes and drawings per customer’s requirements and expectations. Basic knowledge with Fiber, Copper, and COAX design and drafting. Proficiency in telco industry software and databases such as: AutoCad, Visio, MicroStation. Ability to read, understand, and prepare drawings, diagrams, and other documents. Ability to learn, research, prepare, submit, and acquire all types of permits and easements. Responsible for reviewing, auditing, & producing high quality drawings before submitting.

Should be well versed in LinkedIn and acquiring stakeholders using LinkedIn. Make outbound cold calls to targeted list of prospects. Talk to influencers and decision makers involved in procuring Engineering services. Regular follow-ups with the prospects that have been identified as potential clients and who have shown interest to use our services. Co-ordinate with Technical Team to schedule pre-sales discussion, ensure smooth communication between prospect, sales team.
